What It Means to Be Seen: Why I Photograph the Way I Do
I don’t believe in stiff poses or fake smiles—but I also won’t leave you wondering what to do. Here’s why I guide every session with care and intention.
I didn’t start this business because I love taking pretty pictures.
I started it because I know what it feels like to show up for photos… and leave feeling disconnected from the person in the images.
Too stiff. Too forced. Too much pretending.
That’s why when we work together, you won’t be left standing awkwardly, wondering what to do with your hands.
You’ll get direction—gentle, intentional, and rooted in you.
I watch how you naturally move. How your shoulders relax when you laugh. How your hands rest when you’re comfortable.
Then I’ll guide you into poses that feel like a natural extension of that—not cookie-cutter, not awkward, but true to you.
Whether you’re a senior discovering your style, a couple with your own brand of humor and softness, or a family embracing all the joyful chaos… my job is to help you feel at ease.
To help you feel seen.
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ folks, neurodivergent clients, and anyone who’s ever worried they’re “not photogenic.”
(Truth: You are. Always have been. You just needed the right space to feel it.)
So here’s your invitation:
Bring your quirks. Your resting face. Your big laugh. Your quiet moments.
I’ll bring the guidance, the patience, and a camera that’s ready to celebrate all of it.
Thanks for being here. More stories, tips, and behind-the-scenes goodness coming soon.
